Nursing Negligence

Class Dates:

October 17, 2020 Saturday 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

This class will review over 8 actual nursing negligence cases to examine how nursing errors occur, and how to avoid these problems.

Topic to be covered include:

• California Nursing Practice Acts, Duties, and Standards: videos of experts testifying on standards of care
• Issues in Specialty Practice Areas: nursing case studies in each practice area
• The Most Frequent Claims Against Nurses
• How to Avoid Errors and Lawsuits

Requirements:  Plan on logging in from a computer or tablet with a screen large enough to view a PowerPoint presentation. You will need camera and audio to participate as part of the live, interactive video education program.
