Riverside Nurse speaks with NBC LA about ICU overwhelmed by COVID-19

As Riverside, California braces for an even worse Coronavirus surge, Riverside Community Hospital RN Randy Duarte tells NBC’s Tony Shin what it’s like to work in a hard-hit, understaffed ICU, where 23 of the 29 beds are occupied by COVID patients: “The stress of seeing all of these people dying by themselves has had a really large impact on all of us working on these floors.”
