RN issues bleak warning on NBC4 LA “When we’re gone, there’s nobody that’s going to take care of you.”

Amid a surge of COVID patients in LA hospitals, more frontline healthcare workers are testing positive for the virus. Riverside Community Rapid Response Nurse Erin McIntosh spoke to NBC4 LA about the crisis facing hospitals: “When we’re gone, there’s just nobody that’s going to take care of you. That should scare everyone.”

Erin’s comments also aired before a national audience, on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. See the full episode here.
