Why are we wearing ‘got water’ stickers?

For the past 18 months or so, management has been making it harder and harder for nurses to keep themselves hydrated. Nurses used to be able to have covered drinks at the nurses’ station. In 2015 covered drinks at the nurses’ station were prohibited. Most but not all units created a dedicated cabinet for drinks at the nurses’ station for easy access. On August 27, management made the cabinets on some nursing units off limits.
