We are in the process of electing a new Executive Board Representative to replace the spot vacated by Rico Magsino’s resignation. Executive Board Rep nomination forms are due Feb. 24. Rico will retain his elected Chapter Vice President position. PICU RN Christy Kovacic has signed on to become a new Union Steward. Under-staffing continues to be an issue throughout the hospital and RNs are encouraged to continue submitting Patient Safety Forms (Assignment Despite Objection) and calling or faxing the forms to the California Department of Public Health.
