Let's Urge Senate Health members to Support AB 1102!

June 9, 2017

Our legislation, Assembly Bill 1102, passed the full California Assembly in late May and now heads to the Senate Health Committee. Let's call members of the Senate Health Committee and urge them to support AB 1102. AB 1102 will strengthen whistleblower protections for RNs by raising the penalty from $20,000 to $75,000 for retaliating against a nurse who reports violations of Title 22 or other laws.

Senate Health Committee members:

Chair Ed Hernandez, District 22, (916) 651-4022 Vice Chair Janet Nguyen, District 34, (916) 651-4034 Toni G. Atkins, District 39, (916) 651-4039 Connie M. Leyva, District 20, (916) 651-4020 Holly J. Mitchell, District 30, (916) 651-4030 Bill Monning, District 17, (916) 651-4017 Josh Newman, District 29, (916) 651-4029 Jim Nielsen, District 4, (916) 651-4004 Richard D. Roth, District 31, (916) 651-4031
