The RNs at Garfield and El Monte—both AHMC hospitals—won important contract language after our “Every patient deserves the right Nurse” campaign. We focused on putting and end to the culture of unsafe staffing at our hospitals, including sending Nurses into areas where we were not fully equipped or trained—disastrous for patient and Nurse safety.
