Because we've shown STRENGTH & UNITY, management came ready to bargain today; pickets temporarily postponed

Due to management’s willingness to show movement on proposals they had previously not responded to, rejected or not fully considered, our Bargaining Team has decided to temporarily postpone our info pickets scheduled for next week. We want to send a message that we are always ready and willing to fight for what’s important to us, but also willing to work collaboratively when management moves in the right direction. Therefore:

We have bargaining dates scheduled in October and November, so let’s continue to stick together to settle a contract we can be proud of and that addresses our concerns and priorities.

Our fight is not over yet. HCA has proposed things meant to weaken our Union, including further attempts to silence us. They’ve already proposed to stop collecting our dues. Look for information very soon on how we can stand united and strong in the face of these threats!
