A Ventura County Star report on healthcare workers' ongoing lack of PPE featured comments by our Union President and St. John's Regional Medical Center Nurse Dr. Nina Wells, and SJRMC RN Jannet Wharton. Asked about Nurses access to live-saving PPE, like Powered Air Purifying Respirators, Dr. Wells put it simply: "They can't depend on their employer."
