At our Lobby Day Training, members learned more about how government works and how to educate, engage with, and persuade legislators to prioritize good healthcare laws. They studied priority legislation like AB2975 (“Secure Hospitals for All”), and our Patients Can’t Wait campaign on the enforcement of Nurse-to-Patient ratios. Attendees left the training with a keen understanding of the power of their stories and their voice—and the unique opportunity they have to make an impact on our state.
